I might be stupid, but how does this mod work? I see that I'm able to adjust the Damage/Defence values but I don't see the changes taking effect...?

I was able to download the .apk file, but when I click on the file to install the app, it says "App not installed because app is not compatible with phone"...? Is there a workaround for this or not?
