That's the auto-win feature. It is more likely to flag you as a cheater, so I just have it turned off always in the menu. However, I've been using the mod for about 2 months now and am still good, so I don't think they really care that much. If you wanna be super safe, though, just keep auto-win...

Some fights use server-sided stats, meaning the mod can't effect them. I suggest grinding on the Hunts & Discipline materials to power up your heroes (huge XP on the final tier of both too).

Quite late, but from what I've read 3X (the devs) have been dealing with mods in their games long enough that they build their newer games to be incredibly hostile to any 3rd-party software or additions to the APKs that shouldn't be there. It is very hard to mod their newer games. Booty Calls...
