it's working you just gotta copy over the script again after the game has fully updated. the playstore version is 1.2.4 but internally the game is updated to 1.2.57 now I think and it's definitely working.

It says so on the title screen of the game. Bottom right. The game updated again so now it says 1.2.56

if that's how they do it i guess safest way is to use godmode only
