I think they are mainly looking at ranking and your EP compared to the quest you do Avoid ranked stuff with the mods and get to 190-220k EP and you can do most stuff worry free. I went ham on the event once I reached that. Still not banned and did all story. This is my team for reference.

They did mention in a post that this time it was a error though, so I guess I was not flagged. I did not touch anything ranked. I already went with another account though only use that one rarely now.

Apparently error 10000002 isnt banned. Just a widespread error. Just tried the old account today and it worked.

How does not getting banned in this game work? I confess I did not respect EP much, but I though if you just avoided anything ranked it was fine?
