sadly your antivirus needs updating. that's what we call "false positive", it's not a virus, it looks like virus, but it's not....

those 2, if I assume correctly which one of the mods you're referring, are NOT virus nor malware.

now, even if you remove those 2 games, I can bet that you WILL still get those popups.

Suggestions: install firefox and adblocker, so at least you can block as much ads as you like when you visit those free-download sites.

If you're using PC, then most likely your PC is a goner since those popups every 10 mins are guaranteed coming from a plugin or executable that you downloaded and installed inadvertantly

Best of luck cleaning your device, but no, I strongly believe your popup are not coming from this site, it MAY however come from those popup/trojan/hijacker sites that you visit (direct or indirectly from any other legitimate sites such as this one)

They show as viruses because they have been tampered with. Modding an apk breaks the signature which is what your antivirus is looking at to determine the app is fake

To test if it is the apps that are causing the pop ups and ads, delete the apps and check. If you're still getting pop ups make sure you don't have any shady apps downloaded on your phone. I would also do as the above member mentioned and download Firefox for Android and install an adblocker on it.

For the record though, anti-virus apps don't do anything to protect you from malware on an Android device so they're basically useless. The best advice I can give is to not download any shady apps and do not give them any permissions such as accessing your files or call/sms data.

The pop up is gone tho... After delete those 2 mods

good on you.

send PM to any of the staff members on links where you get those 2 apps, they will verify and check them up.

Sigh, I'd never even check unknown sources if I didn't fully understand apk mods permissions, good thing the very wrongly proclaimed "tragedy" was properly responded to swiftly. Is it just me or didn't most of us learn about the basis of this back when I was about 12 and discovering Torrents, Software, etc, rather even my first rooted android back on Gingerbread when AirPush / Push Notifications were rampant amongst all apps. *shuts up and scurries off realizing this post is not necessary and I'm new here *
