Hello, AndroidRepublic!

I just recently got into the modding scene and hacked a couple of games. I see that couple of those games are requested but not available yet.

I was thinking about sharing my mods out to the public for games such as Grow Stone Online. I have things like no delay attack, infinite range, infinite penetration, no ads, no captcha, etc...

Before I post however, I have a few questions for other modders.
1) For online game mods, if I release them, is it likely that they will be patched fast? (From your experience)
2) How do you deal with leechers?
3) Is this the best forum to release mods in?

Thanks!

The question is, you want to realease your mod or not?
Dev pacth fast or not, it depends on the user, abusive or not.?

  1. Completely dependent on the devs, some will want to patch quickly others dont have the time or resources and most times they csnt patch.
  2. Simple answer is you cant deal with leechers, if you release a mod publicly somebody is going to share it somewhere else and most likely try and take credit. Make sure you have a toast message so people can see where the mod originated

2. it will be leeched, 0-day, no question about that. just be happy to share or make sure you've got your mod carries full credit ;)
3. see number 2, a 0-day spread of your mod means the forum is the best lol
