I was able to compile main.go into and exe and renamed it to rewrite.exe. The patcher ran smoothly but the output scripts are unchanged as for as modification is concerned.
Have you guys ran into the same issue? Am I mssing something here

Usually that means you don't have python in your PATH variables.

Thread was taken down by a moderator without any explanation. If anything, blame that one guy who started to flame me just because I didn't want to help him.

Btw, it's not updated cuz I didn't update it.
I'm sorry , i actually read that at the original thread, pls ignore that ignorant kind of people who can't even read, the instruction is very clear and thousands of us very thankful to you.

the patched scripts files does not appear to do anything.
From what I read from a question asked by a previous user, the answer was to have python. I do have python installed and I am sure it is added to PATH.

So what I was thinking now is that it might be because of the configuration.ini file (I'm using the default one without changing a thing) or perhaps I do not have all the 3rd party tools required, put them in wrong folder structure, or perhaps they are not compiled correctly

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Since Anjhew stopped updating the mod.
I'll do a video tutorial of how the autopatcher work soon and only give it to trusted members as for the safety of the script.
If the majority disagrees of this idea of mine, I'll stop and completely remove this tutorial for the greater good.

i would disagree, the patcher and scripts are already a ticking time bomb already, people cant control on how they use the scripts and people are reporting it, i would just recommend to let it die, and concerning on trusting who thing TENDS to leak because they cant keep it to themselves and i would just let it go we had a good run anyway, just my opinion

I wouldn't upload that if I were you. Just keep it on the down low if you still want to use it. Be smart about it

in the configuration.ini file, does the [weapon] section affect the player or the enemy? the default has it set to Damage=300 and ReloadMax=120. If I don't want to increase my own firepower, would it be better to set them both to ignore?

I would only use godmode for afk farm with normal (not low oil cost) fleet anyway.

EDIT: nevermind, figured that if you put [true] to only godmode the [weapon] section is ignored.

P.S: To those who keeps giving me a message for the tutorial. NO, I won't give it for now since I could put the autopatcher in a great risk, may it be for your personal use or not, just no.
Not sure if that "snitch" point out the autopatcher to the devs already but it's either we all stay low for now or the mod will be completely patched. I won't also respond to any messages for now. Please understand the situation we're in right now.
