As Already mentioned in the 1st post Gold/Gems are visual and hence you wont be able to buy anything with them.

The mod works great except for the visual gems and gold. Like most, when I try to purchase anything the server issues message appears and sends me back to the main screen.

Probably best to remove the visual currency hack to avoid confusion and let people use their currency without needing to reinstall.

Very nice game! But this game updates every few weeks. And too lazy to wait for mod apk... giving up..... sigh..
