naw the devs will find out immediately because they send your ship power to a server when you do a quest.
 
please mod a little not too much OP the dev really give you a banhammer in this game.
 
You need to make the mod similar to another modder called WelcomeHell. What he did was increase damage of attacks without touching stats, lower the enemy speed of everything, and prevent enemies from attacking. That is the best kind of mod this game needs. It also won't get detected.
