I'm not the one who made this mod, i'm a moderator not a modder.
I don't know about the .py files, nor about what you are using for compiling, but i suggest trying something like Apk-multi-tool or similar.
Be aware if the apk is compiled correctly but it won't work, then you have messed up with the code and modified something you shouldn't.

Also, every time you decompile/recompile the signature of the apk change.
Normally, you can't connect using Google+ sync with an apk signature different from the original one.
If you want to use Gooogle to sync your game mod (or apk recompiled) you need an unsigned apk and follow these steps:
