I had a mod in the past and once it updated i just reupadted it well back then My entire data was whiped with it but with iAlex mod it never happen i didn't had to manually down load anything just opened my app and it installed on its own but now my concern is once u updated this brand new version will my data still be saved due to me not using G+ nor Facebook to log in to ur mods just concerned to lose my hardworking proces not feeling starting all over again due to it saying wifi connection not established during its loading screen that only has something to do because this version is outdated
( my wifi is on fire so not the issue) but my concern is Don't wanna start from scratch again last time it happen took me 1 year to come back playing this game

It won't save unless you sync with fb or Google but it will save your progress if you install the new mod over the old one, this will install as an update in the same way as the PS version would. This will only work with mods from the same modder unless you are rooted

brave frontier's progress is saved locally as a tmp file somewere on device
so if ya uninstall mod and install ps version or viceversa your acc wont be lost

if you're rooted you dont need to uninstall just install it like an update. and what do you mean by " updating on its own " ? the apk wont update automatically, but it will download additional files like an unmodded apk would.
