I have java jdk 8 installed. Have tried multiple versions of java including developers version. I HAVE created .bat files to run and also tried by themselves to run. I am trying to sign modded apps I've made but can not yet. It used to work on my old windows 10 hp envy but can not get them to run on my hp omen. I HAVE TRIED apk signer, Apktool latest version. NONE WORKED. Any ideas? Java is up to date also changed user permissions to allow full access to .jar file, and I HAVE also ran the .jar files as Administrator.

Also had to set file locations of java for system.

->Download Windows wrapper script from here https://raw.githubusercontent.com/iBotPeaches/Apktool/master/scripts/windows/apktool.bat (Right click, Save Link As apktool.bat)
->Download apktool-2 iBotPeaches / Apktool / Downloads — Bitbucket (find newest here)
->Rename downloaded jar to apktool.jar
