cant install modded apks on bluestacks

recently I changed from nox --> bluestacks 4 but I cant seem to install modded apks in bluestacks4 latest version.

If anyone can let me know how to fix this much appreciated.

using official bluestacks 4 ver 4.140

Apologies if this is something you guys have done already but it makes sense to check.

Did you check the option in settings "Allow installation of non playstore sources"?

I would recommend Nox Player android 7. It seems to work for everything now since their recent update.
