If you have already installed mod, go to settings/Apps/Choose game name, turn on all permissions and “Apps can appear on top” ( Overlay permission). Then mod menu may appear

Almost mod that require rooted device is for google login and install over original game. If you successfully installed and you could play, this is just a small step to show mod menu. Try it

I think that's why this mod require rooted device. You can try on emulator if you don't have rooted device, it may better.
