no idea...try original apk, let it download the patch, then install the mod.
most likely original apk is doing that too, just not sure
 
@BTG i installed the original apk and downloaded the patch, then install the mod, it crash, then copy the data and remove apk, then install mod and copy data, it still ask me to download that 5.12MB repeat and repeat

after installed the original, I played a few time
 
i'll check tonight to see what's going on
 
fixed enjoy
 
moving to graveyard due to old age
