I figured out the problem now. After a few tries. You will have to install the original apk for you be able to chat with NPC. The mod apk wont allow to chat with NPC.

hello , i using sony z2 android 5.1.1 but why i download final fantasy 9 i put already i playing in start , all mod cheat can active , but why i wanna talk with npc or shop cannot ? any solution thank you
 
demn whats the insufficient memory supposed to mean..isnt 2gb ram still not enough, i got plenty of space i made for sake of this game

The OBB file is about 1.73GB and the game itself is about 32MB, and haven't included the installation space required so no 2GB isn't enough :)

i think i got it..its the free ram, not space..i got 2gb ram but over 1gb already occupied, too many running process in the background and turning off some of them doesnt help..works on emulator though
 
Im stuck on this screen.
I placed the OBB file in the correct folder

im having problems at initialiizing game data . its been stuck at time remaining 0:00
and the progress bar is not moving .

You need to read and follow instruction
- Put obb data inside internal memory folder Android/obb/
 
Don't download mod 2 with walkthrough NPC, it makes the game unplayable since not being able to talk to NPCs equal you can't play the game, the mod itself made it useless, the mod would be perfect without walking through NPCs. Also, what the point in walking through NPCs? There's a reason why they are there so you can continue playing the game... Lol
 
this game already have built in cheats. items mod looks good but walk through npc?
also it will be good if we can turn off the money, exp etc built in cheats that cannot be turned off once they are on
