free mods?

a lot of the games I played had mods on here but lately they have all been moved to the VIP section.

what's happening here? are all the mods on this site becoming VIP only? why? what became different that updating them to work with the game updates becomes so much more special that it needs to be paid for? many of them wasn't even huge game cheats just things that made UI's better or gave you a way to track things.
did the site lose a bunch of hackers so the only way they can keep a hacker putting out mods is to pay them?

what's going on here?
 
Usually any game with good protection will move to VIP, whats in public is no protection and easy to mod lol, you can complaint that to devs dont protect their game and we will happy to release public
 
Well yeah as jack answered., even cheese nowdays not for free....
But it's okay, u can support team for their hard work. So we could save our time. To out beloved pay2win games 😀
 
but as time progresses every phone game eventually gets protected. meaning every mod will be VIP?
what's to stop someone here on this site from buying VIP downloading the mod then selling it it to get their VIP money back with the other websites that list it for free? there are like 9 other moding websites after all and they do buy mods, they pay for them by posting ads on the download page you have to watch before you can get the mod. with so many people watching ads they don't need to do a "VIP subscription" method and everyone is willing to do the ad to get the mod cause it only cost them time.

Hi buddy :) So far i read out the vip reviews all good and high level.

No one sell vip mod to other websites for money.
a) License system ( registerd device access ) unauthorised device auto block
b) even they do it is totally waste ( encryption system )
c) Player knws the value of vip mod ( nvr jump in silly thing )

there are like 9 other moding websites after all and they do buy mods, they pay for them by posting ads on the download page you have to watch before you can get the mod. with so many people watching ads they don't need to do a "VIP subscription" method and everyone is willing to do the ad to get the mod cause it only cost them time.

They do buy mods. How do u calling them as modding websites ? There is a big difference between creating the product and selling the same product ( made by someone ). As jacknator stated "Usually a game with good protection will move to VIP". we can't expect every player use the mod at proper way without abusing the hack. My POV free mods on later stage get protected ( I think most vip mods were public before ) by devs bcos of hard abused in the game. Avoid abuse moving to vip is much appreciated. If someone really need to play and get rank they will buy it without any hesitation. Other websites don't know the value of game goodness and provided in public. Reality u need to thank the team who working hard and securing game.

I dont have much knowledge in android modding. Sorry if my words are wrong / hurted anyone.

a cheat is a cheat people get banned if caught no matter how much effort or pride you put into your work. charging people because you make cheats is not just a violation of the games terms its literally a criminal act. however if you said you gave the mods away for free you can't be charged for selling them, just using the ads method says you are paying for your bandwidth to host the free mods and not being paid for the mods themselves. hard to claim that if you say the mod is a vip only and you have to buy vip to get it.

I just know I'm NEVER paying for a mod so if you want money from me the ads is the only way you're going to get it and if you insist on making all your mods paid only well count me out I'd rather play the game the way it is than pay someone to mod it for me. so have fun in court if your caught trying to explain things to a judge... maybe the line about how much pride you put into your work or how difficult it is breaking the cheat protection the game company puts in is... that will win him over.
 
Yet you're the one considering using mods...
I'm sure if the mod were public you'd be using them as if it were nothing, not thinking of the repercussions.

because cheating is against game rules but not illegal, selling the mods itself is considered illegal because its making money off someone's trademark property.

the difference is being caught with a dead body or caught murdering a living person. one isn't illegal the other is.
 
What difference would it make if it were public or paid mod, according to you it would still be "murder". Such an extreme comparison btw.

So what is the point you are making here?

Is it "I am concerned about this site getting in trouble because they are doing illegal things with games, so I am advising them to use another way to distribute their modded games."

Or is it simply "I am salty because I won't/can't pay money for a service that is implemented to avoid abuse and keeping the mod safer for a longer time."

Your arguments are completely flawed. We have run the site the same way since we opened 5 years ago, no pussy footing needed.
The VIP Price has never changed and 90% of the games are put in the VIP section straight away only a handful get security added and swapped to VIP from public.
Currently there is 571 Team AR public mod threads and around 230 VIP releases so that definitely proves you are correct we only clearly care about the paying customer, 2 teams of modders work on public releases alone.
As for the Legality issues, we don't sell apks of others we sell access to the modified versions. This is not a criminal act at the very most the game developers have a civil case on their hands.

These developers know us well and if they had grounds for criminal cases we would have been shutdown long ago.

Given the reputation of the sites, the developers are aware of this type of thing, so if it were as problematic as you say it is, the site would be dismantled like torrent sites are.
