I just saw the update to 2.0.3 and haven't had the chance to download yet, but I got 2.0.2 working.
The money works, but only if you buy low-value items. The larger values end up costing almost as much as shown in the store.
The best method I found for increasing money is to go to one of the other facilities (not the information one, since it had an annoying message pop up), then invest. You can do $1 at a time for maximum potential cash (around $9k extra for each $1 "spent"). If you want to actually upgrade the facility but not spend money, I believe $8,850 was around the max you can " spend " and still earn a few dollars.
 
Im not trying to repeat what people say, but when you buy something worth alot the money decreases, is there anyway around?
 
Easy fix for credits :

Needed : Gameguardian (or similar)

1.Start game and go into a store and find something expensive, lets say i found a lazer for 8,400,357.
2.Search for a 4 byte value of 8,400,357 (or whatever the item costs)
3. You should only get 1 result for such a high number, now change it to -99,999,999 and go back to game.
4.Purchase the item and get paid lots of money for your trouble :)
