This is the second event back to back that the games broken on me, I usually get 1 day after the update before it breaks and won't let me play. I've spoken to moderators for the game in discord and tbh they don't like to talk about this problem to much. I honestly don't think they care to much about about mobile users, they just tell me nutaku are aware and are working on fixing it. That sure is some weird glitch/bug you're experiencing, I've had something similar, my previous event quests and characters still show up with the newer events

I think I'm going to have to start investing a good 4 hours after update to make sure I finish the event before it breaks on me haha fed up of losing out on unique characters
I investigated i little furter with a second account and it is a bug from the game itself. The characters can't leveled above Level 10 in events and not above Level 20 in the normal game.
It is a like a level cap, but without a cap that stops you to level above this cap.
Remember: Level 10 in Events Level 20 in Main Game

This is very useful sir! I think I'm going past lvl 10 in the events just for the quests to be completed. I'll make sure to only upgrade when I have a quest to do so
if this is the real cause then you're a genius sir! I'm 99% sure you're correct on your theory also

You need to elaborate more your statement
1. If mod doesnt applied just reopen the app again with "save preference"
2. Game keep crash at loading, just forced close and try again. Repeat everytime u crashed, its shitty game
My apologises.
When I install the game, the mod works perfectly fine. Upon closing the game and then reopening it at a later time the mod no longer works. Just now I uninstalled and installed the game back and the mod appears to be working now. I have selcted the option you have stated.
I think I have pinpointed what is happening. I am using MEmu, closing the whole tab and reopening the game appears the make the mod not work vs just backing out of the game like normal on Android.
