check again please. i run the mods in frontpage, no popup or update.
if you still have problem, try to re-install the mod, it should work.
i don't see any new apk getting updated, so the mods should still work.

Guys, download the latest apk, the update was only "internal", it doesn't need an updated apk.
The one on VPhoneGaga asked for update because I was using an old version (it was showing 7.5.0). I downloaded the last one provided by BTG and it only asks for a ~200mb update.
The game is on the 5.7.1 version, the same provided on the first post.

As far as I can tell it's luck of the draw on certain devices. All of them crash from time to time and even the unmodded official apk does I can't remember if Aidis is the developer or just the publisher but whoever is the developer doesn't do a stellar job of optimizing and stabilizing the app, even in it's official capacity. I have lower end devices that I can boot up within an attempt or two and they'll work consistently within those one or two attempts, I have a brand new device that essentially has double the specs but I have to sometimes try 10 - 20 times on that device consistently before it'll finally let me through.
The modded apk crashes seem to be revolving around the overlay menu even if you give permissions it can sometimes be weird. Also there are times where if you play the game for an extended period of time and try to access the menu to upgrade your characters it'll lock you out or if you update an ark it'll freeze the screen on the animation in white, but for your practical purposes I would say either get an emulator if you don't have the patience to brute force it attempting over and over again until you get in then you can experiment with settings so it only takes one or two attempts.
I have multiple accounts and have been using this mod for quite awhile and this is the best solution I've come up with in addition if you're waiting for updates to play, I recommend getting last cloudia on steam as well. It's not perfect but runs a lot better in ways unfortunately it's not modded, but even a potato pc can run it. You can link one account to 3 different devices at once. As an example I have an account tied to steam to play legit if the mod hasn't been updated yet or I want to do an event that a mod would get me banned from like the time trials, I have a modded apk on my nox emulator which works quite well, and I have my main phone that I have the modded apk on as well.
This might seem extreme to those of you reading this but it's the best system I've found as far as getting through any issues and being able to play the game regardless of circumstances.
If any of you are having issues I would read through all of that and you'll probably be able to find something that works for you consistently.

I saw accounts with abnormally fast clear times being banned during past Time Attack events.
I also used the mod, but adjusted the clear time appropriately to avoid being banned.

if you got ban, next time avoid using too much mod on event that has ranking, because dev can locate playaer who use cheat or not from time clear
