looked like more headache... i need more time to think how to remove that blackscreen/hung problem when launching the mod. sorry, no progress yet, just need to try few things on my end.
 
If some of you were to read there is an issue with black screen booting up mod and author is trying to fix it. There has been times where updates from the devs of the game have broken things on the back end for the mod. This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Be patient.

Also I've recommended it before but you can link your account to up to 3 devices at a time, if you are getting impatient for the mod to be updated and want to collect dailies etc while you wait, link your account to an unmodded version, the steam version in particular runs really well.

I get crashes even on legit play store versions on my phones / tablets but the steam version runs quite well on pc. I've also found nox works quite well for emulating it as well if you want to go that route.

I haven't tinkered with that stuff and since the only data for the game is on your device I wouldn't risk losing the data but that's just me personally. Just use this as a lesson to backup any game or account you have whatever the method provided in the future, I learned that lesson the hard way years ago when I lost an account on a game I spent a bunch of money on over the years when my main phone at the time stopped working. If you've basically just started Last Cloudia then I wouldn't say you've missed out on much anyways, you could start an alt account. The Tales Collab if you're a fan (and I am of the series) then you might like the units but there hasn't been any meta type units that have come out lately, and nothing that is going on is that important in game right now.

BTG is usually pretty good at keeping the game updated but there has been periods of time where he has other stuff going on like exams if I remember correctly and there has been a bit of delay in terms of updates, his last posts were on the 7th so I don't think the support for the game has been dropped, something like that would be mentioned. I also don't want to spam the thread with unrelated stuff I just wanted to let people new to the mod some options and generally what it's like for updates.

I try to show gratitude because BTG has been doing this for free but I notice a lot of people have complained or spammed the thread and other mods have come in here to basically say stop pestering the modder at times when he's busy.
