Probably your inentory contains some items that hasn't been released in the game yet such as Clan Banner, Radio Tower, Gunsmith etc. It will still affect your build mode just by having those items in your inventory, so either destroy them or put them away.

Perhaps you didn't uninstall the old version of the game before installing this new mod. Make sure you back up your save folder before deleting though.
