Obb files need to be signed?? if yes how to

Hello guys, im new with but i have been reading some tutorials here and i have a question, i know that after editing an apk we must sign it, i know how to do that with apktools and apkmultitools but well i edited an obb file and i need to know if it can be signed with these tools in the same way as an apk and how.

Obb is just the data files for the game, they aren't signed. The signature is only to show the device the apk is a real apk
