It seems modifying other values with GG like bag items will crash the game, modifying stats values like att and def is only visual.
Mind you, i'm not an expert at using it so maybe i missed something and till now i can only modify hp and exp.


By the I optimized the research a little, not it takes 1-2 mins at most to find the values.


You need Gameguardian and Virtual Xposed for this to work.

1. Hide the game from root using Magisk (tick all the options)

2. Install Gameguardian with Root on your phone (go to point 7)

3. Install Virtual Xposed

4. Install GG inside Virtual Xposed

5. Uninstall the GG app outside the Virtual Space

6. Open GG inside VXposed, click Fix It option and tick the Use root inside Virtual Space

7. Open Octopath and look for the game to modify with GG:

a. if it's detected try to hide GG with the setting Hide GG from the game and tick all

b. If method 7a. doesn't work go trough points 3-6



Install GG using Virtual Xposed:




How to look for the HPs and block them:





N.B. this method is not perfect and there are 2 problems with it:



1. The game after 5+ minutes will eventually crash. It's random it could happen after 5 mins or after 2 hour;

80% of the time i can clear the hard fight I want to breeze


2. When you close the game and reopen it, it probably will give Error:2026 and return to the title screen, then it'll prompt to load a save from the server.

Click ok to load the save and continue to play the game, what you did before with GG will not be lost.

If it contnues to give the same error, close the game and clear the cache.


I'm using this method since launch to clear the Arena Boss fights and for now my account it's safe.

I'm not responsible for eventual bans since this will modify in-game,, be warned.

Hi @Soul after a lot of reading and fails trying to configure everything I was able to follow your steps and apply the mods, thank you so much. 😍
I only had some doubts about the 3 extra HP values you looked on the list and selected after the first one was saved.
And I had some issues changing MP too with one character not being able to cast spells, the game said that the character doesn't have enough MP to cast, something like that.

I've try every method on f1vm and vphonegaga but can't bypass AppGuard yet (only vphonegaga can play when disable root)

@Soul are you use real phone to hack this game right?

Edit: i can bypass to login screen with little trick but game will crash after 20-30s so sad 😂
