There is no such thing as a "safe mod." if you use any one of these apks, you are at risk of being banned. Sure, bandai doesn't take the time to comb through every player to find the modders and only bans the really obvious ones but they do from ocation find people who are not that obvious and ban them. Odds are you got unlucky or you were really high in the ranking for the tm because they do check the top like 1000 players to see if they mod and ban them. Don't stick out like a sore thumb when you use mods and you should be fine. Also, i got "temp" banned on a previous account back in april and still haven't been un-banned so i would look into getting a new account if i were you, which i was, and i did.

TIP & TRICKS - How to minimize your chances of getting Pointlocked and/or suspended/banned from OPTC Treasure Maps.
-DONT USE MODS on TM! (Works 100%)
-DONT use 1 wave clear
-Make sure your you aren't overload on box space like 2000/100 units, clean out your box so that you don't over reach your box cap
-Make your teams look legit, level up your point boosters, never use lvl 1 or non-captains as a point booster crew that is statistically impossible to beat the content
-Stay out of top ranking as they get checked more often
-DONT promote yourself to a higher Sea (east blue/grandline/new world) if you don't have the units to play there as u need strong units to play new world, playing with a weak and non synergy crews can get u flagged
-DONT go too fast, pace yourself, don't rank too quickly especially with weak crews with Godmode+DMG.
These are all off the top of my head, we can expand this list and share our experience how we got locked or suspended or banned and try to prevent it in the future.

I'm fully aware of the fact that there is no "safe mod". However in the past people got striked (me included) for using one wave mod in TM and ranking quests on Extra Island. Since I've been using the mod without one wave victory I was fine for months now clearing many TMs.
However it sucks to stay in East Blue League forever. We won't ever get any good orbs to limit break any legends. I saw someone at reddit saying that the 2000 top ranks are raising to the next league so I spent some gems in the trusty sugo to get Ivan and Mr. 1 in order to have a multiplier of over 20x which was great.
The only thing I should have avoided was my box. I was at around 2900 while having a box size of only 1200 but I saw people having around 29k units without getting banned.
I guess you're right, we have to stay out of the top ranks. Unfortunately that would make me stop playing the Treasure Map event at all (or maybe only once to get the bare unit). But if it's true that it takes months to get that temporary ban away I guess I'm done with that game anyway.

It's most likely due to the unlimited box space mod. If you weren't using that than you just got unlucky.
I havent been locked on Croc but I have been on TM Sabo and TM Zoro/Sanji.
Nota's when I got point locked in past:
-overcapped box (2400/1000)
-weak crew composition clearing too strong content (used f2p point boosters to clear content it shouldn't be able to)
-fast pace with DMG mod with too weak crew ranking too quickly
-Game freeze when enemy despairs or switches or blows away your captain and your total HP exceeds the value of your max HP forcing you to either give up the fight or use 1 wave win mod to clear the game freeze (to counter this use Whitebeard ship MobyDick to start with 50%HP at start and make sure you don't fully heal back HP)
I think the game has a system in place that instant locks the most obvious mods like box space. Probably has a calculator to some extern that can calculated max Dmg possible for your current selected crew and compare that to their own stat tables and flag you for inspection if it doesn't match up. Though none of this I can prove to be true but it wouldn't be too far-fetched.

Please be patient as the modder himself also has things to do in real life. We don't know when exactly the update will be online here but in the past the update had been delayed 5 days because of people spamming this. Im sure he will update it as soon as he has the time

well, I have been playing without any issues up until last night right before the maintanance, and I'm using god mode + unlimited space + high damage. never even got suspended, and ranked slightly above 400 on the TM
