Finally the reward for my invested time and cheating arrived. I got banned even though I didn't do something wrong in the lasts months.

Well, being flagged could be the death sentence. And it's okay. My journey on the grand line ends and I can say that I don't regret taking advantage of this mod. It saved me lots of lifetime after I invested already to much of my lifetime in this game.

I sincerely want to thank @iAlex for releasing and taking care of the mod for Optc. I also want to thank the users here for advice and fun talk, also about the rants againt Namco-Bandai which were well deserved.

I think it is a good time to end the game knowing that another "awesome" game mod will be released and knowing that the next months will just consist of grinding in events following a rotation of blitz battle, kizuna, tm, random event, kizuna, tm, repeat.

Just a pity I never got the chance to own legend Robin.

Hmm, this has me worried now, so I am transferring back to my phone and gonna play it safe for now and hope for the best. Out of curiosity what mods were people using?

I've been trying to play it safe since I started using the mod, so far I have only used god mode and damage multiplier, have never used 1 wave. I accidentally turned on the box space mod but disabled it again right away cause I didn't need it since I am nowhere close to capped on box space. Also, when there is a Kizuna or a TM I have been transferring back to my phone for those. I don't know what they can and can't detect, but I have only been using the mod for the single player content.

This is okay, you should not have problems. Since people started saying they got banned I panicked lol. I removed one wave to be sure nothing happens and playing kinda 'legit'.

Unlimited box space is fine to use, I have 765 box space but more than 2800 items thanks to the mod.

If you use the modded box space and then want to disable it, make sure your number of items you have is the same or lower than your max box space. Say I have 764 items out of 765 space and then I run a clash on x2 stamina using double Buggy or I do a multipull on a tavern banner: I get about 12 items with the clash and 11 items with the multipull. Now my box is 776/765 or 775/765 and the game gives a message saying that my box is full and I need to increase the space or removing some items. 10-11 items are a normal number to exceed the box space, but if I had like 785 out of 765 space it is suspicious because there is no way that usually I can gain 20 items in one run. A long time ago a friend forgot he had more than 400 items exceeding when moving from max box space to no mod and he got instantly banned.

Never use one wave in TM, Blitz Battle and rankings (for ranking I mean events like this that have a website you can access through in-game notice, not the 'Friend Ranking' you access in the game tapping on "Friends" and then "Ranking"). If you clear the quest too fast the game detects that something is wrong, flags you as a cheater and excludes you from the ranking. For example:
  • you use one wave in TM, the game detects you. You get point locked and you can't get treasure rewards (based on how many points you do) like character LB fragments/crystals/jewels, RR and Legend tickets, gems, TM blue tickets, potions, cotton candy and so on. You are also removed from the ranking rewards based on your final position and you also are forced to drop in a lower league if I remember corrrectly altough your final ranking is good enough to stay in your actual league.
  • you use one wave in BB or ranking. You get point locked, no global/personal/team rewards.
Technically you can use one wave but you have to count at least 90 seconds (to be sure) from when the characters appear on the field to when you click OK on the popup message that appears when you defeated all the enemies of the first stage of the quest. This is not recommendable because if you are distracted and do not wait enough time you can be detected and say farewell to the account.

Note: what I'll say now is not sure to happen considering some people got banned apparently for no reason after the update, it is intended also for story quests and non-ranked events in the 'event' adventure. Do not try if you don't want problems.

One wave is safe for Kizuna, I used it since I knew it was fine to use there and I got no problems. JPN got a Kizuna where people joined teams for 6th anniversary (and another one few days ago) and we will probably have the same kizunas when the time arrives. I didn't read on JPN mod thread something about getting warned/banned if using one wave but I recommend going for just damage multiplier.

To make things a bit more clear:
1 used one wave & 1 used infinite box space.
I got caught some times in past using one wave on ranked missions (tm and blitz battle) and got excluded from those events. I didn't make mistakes in ranked events from the beginning of this year though.

I think what got me and probably others users banned directly after the release of 9.6.0.: Box Space. With the current update optc implemented a new system to organize box space and probably it implemented a notification to bandai-namco if something was strange about the number of items/characters.

Well... I got over 5000 items because there is no possibility of stacking cc and selling manuals was too boring for me. As I said: I don't regret beeing banned for a healthier lifes sake.

But I think that if you respect what @Shish666 summarized above, you will not be detected for cheating. Good sum up, dude. ;)

Using cotton candy is atrocious. Some days ago while playing Kizuna and doing assists I decided to try to use them on units or stacking them on pigs. Too bad I didn't recorded how much it took, I've only been able to use all of my HP CC (about 1200, mostly were +1) and I still have like 1000 ATK / 200 RCV candies to feed to pigs.

Thanks to the last update at least we can sell a stack of same manuals counting as 1 space. I threw 1522 GPU manuals at once lol, selling them before update would have probably took more than an hour.

For the sake of our accounts seems like we should care more about box space and try to reduce the evidence. If you guys change idea, you can still play and have fun chilling with the game. No grind, no forced to play. Just enjoying a game about a series you like.

So true... I don't even understand why that manuals even count into boxspace. If you consider that there are more than 2000 Units and so even 2000 manuals... they should just avoid them to count into boxspace. With the old system I always had to make "Others" invisible or the CC and manuals alone reached 3000 Items. :D

I installed the mod yesterday on another emulator to just "try" a clean start. But I immediately felt confronted with this great actual grinding event (100 fully armored bears) and thought to myself: "Naaaa". I think I am better off this game. But if I will change my mind, I know where I have to search for the mod.
 
Does anyone know a way to buy rainbow gems with the mod and not having to transfer to my phone or another emulator?

there's a way if you want purchased in-game cash

delete mod & install playstore version because you can't purchased with mod / you can use another device. you can login with same id without delete other (of course you need install game from playstore too)
 
Sorry to annoy you @iAlex but I just want to notify that there will be an update, in the middle of the TM, to the 9.6.1 version to fix some bugs. Please keep an eye on July 11th. Thank you

@XxXpumpXxX If you do not have infinite box enabled I think you can simply install the clean game and remove the modded one although you prefer to not to. If you have enabled infinite box and have more items than the limit when you open on the clean version you are detected as a cheater and have very high chances to get banned. So the following method is what I've thought.

I haven't tried myself but maybe doing what this thread says can help you. Some time ago I followed this Alternative Method #3 under "How to login to Google+ on modded games"

Method #3:
1. Delete "META-INF" from modded APK.
2. Copy "META-INF" from normal APK(From apkpure or similar site) to modded APK.
3. Sign the modded APK with zipsigner.
4. Install normal APK(From apkpure or similar site) and login with Google Play.
5. Install the signed mod APK over and launch the game.
Note: Please be sure to use the game version is the game!

to be able to login to Google+ in a game. It worked perfectly but unfortunately I haven't be able to check if payments were enabled because there are no in-app purchases. My guess is that if you are able to login to G+ then you should also get the shop to work. You should not need root to run zipsigner, the author of that thread doesn't specify it so I assume it is not required. Note: when there are new updates you have to repeat steps 1, 2, 3 and then overwrite the APK you get after step 3 over your game.

I can't try myself because I should put more than 1600 characters back to favourites and redownload all of their artworks (thanks to the last game update that requires to open character information to favourite it), this is also TM period so the time to do it is not very much. I'll see if I can try this method creating an account on another device when I have the time.

EDIT: if someone already tried a method similar to this or knows if it works please let us know so we avoid installing all of this game.
