please try these steps one more time
1- Uninstall the game completely
2- restart your device
3- install the mod apk
4- go to settings >> game >> Advance >> and enable "display over other apps" permission
5- start the game
also please provide a crash log in case the above didn't work follow this How-to tutorial videos | Youtube
