Doesn't matter where it was taken from. If it's a public mod it can be shared anywhere.

If credit for rightful modder is found, credit may be given by OP.
However where OP got the mod from might of not had credit given to rightful modder which is why he or she might of included '?'.

SBenny mods are not allowed to be shared anywhere else, and that is stated on every download link section.

This is AndroidRepublic, we have our own rules. Any mod that the public has access to can be shared anywhere and everywhere.
If you're so concerned about this you should hunt down on the other hundreds of sites that are sharing this mod as well, nothing can be done about it.
 
Yes but your rules only apply to Android Republic, it cannot include other sites. So yes any mod in your 'Public mod' section can be shared anywhere however this mod and maybe many other mods were stolen/taken from SBenny without permission or credit to the original modder. SBenny does not allow its mods or any topic to be shared on other sites without explicit permission from the author or modder.

Like I said, nothing can be done about it. No point in arguing it. However you can feel free to report it to him so he can do something about it, if he can.

@h3yf00l has already answered your question. If someone wants to leech it from Sbenny and post it here they're more than welcome to. This is a public mod section. The name speaks for itself. If you put it that way then a lot of mods that were taken from here are leaked to other sites. So it works both ways, everyones a leecher then right? Plus this is AR not Sbenny, how do you expect us preventing this from happening when you're trying to implement another sites rules onto ours. No I'm not being bias. If you want something to be done then contact the original modder Sbenny. You don't need to flame us on here man.

SBenny isn't the original modder, he owns the site SBenny where there's a community of modders releasing content. The rules of that site are being broken by people who take mods and release them on other sites without consent and without giving rightful credit to the original modder. As long as credit is given to the original modder it should be fine but it hasn't and that is the main issue because people that "share" the mods on other sites are passing the mods off as their own when they aren't.

SBenny have set rules about mods being posted, if someone attempts to post a mod and its their first post of content then they are screened by the modding team/testers/staff and have to provide proof that they are the creator of that mod or if they are not then give credit to the original modder. And that's something that AR seems to lack. End of the day its about integrity and honour amongst modders to give credit and seek permission to share their content, do you not agree with that?

I understand where you're coming from. If people are wanting to claim that they mod whatever games that's out of our control. We do have rules that the OP have to give credits to the original post. If they do not know who has posted it, it is left with "?". I have not seen someone that post in our section to claim they have mod the games where they didn't. Unless someone else mentions it otherwise.

Like I said that's Sbenny and not AR. Each site has different rules, we can definitely take on board what you have said and see if the team is wanting to make change around the rules if necessary. However, most members in our team is mostly busy trying to keep games updated and also outside of what they do here which you have to realize. This applies everywhere else. You can't really force an opinion/rules on someone just because it works differently. With that also being said, everyone is allowed their own opinions. Regardless I hope you do enjoy your stay here at AR, have a nice day 🙂
 
That's like 1 country not abiding by another country's laws and following their own rules regardless of the situation. But fine do what you want i can't be bothered trying to make you understand.

You have said that this sbenny guy did not make the mod, you still haven't said WHO made it though. If you wish to provide the correct/missing Credits in any Public mods lacking information about the creators you are free to do so, just post "Credits by XXX" in the relevant thread and they will be added to the first post as soon as possible.

I did though if you look at one of my previous replies, I attached a screenshot of the original mod post of this on SBenny where the name of the modder is stated.
