yep cheers bud. I have a good understanding of all that but the game doesn't even install for me at all. Tried using the ps version and installing the mod over but also doesn't work. I can hack the currency manually myself but it resets when I restart the game.

Maybe you got some problems. Try it:
Go to settings/Apps/ Game name/ Blocking/Earasing Google play store/Service. Then install mod again, it may work
 
I figured it out. The modder forgot to include all the lib files for anything other than arm64. I'll just put the libraries into the modded version and that should fix it. If anyone has any trouble installing this let me know and I'll upload the fixed version.

*edit* nope, wasnt that. I tried installing it on Nox and another android device and get the same error on all three.

*Edit2* hackd the ps version a different way so it sticks after restarting the game

The mod doesn't install on my phone (not rooted)

For non root user, did you try my solution? here:
1.Uninstall the PS version (Original apk)
2.Go to settings/Apps/ Game name/ Blocking/Earasing Google play store/Service. Then install mod again, it may work

I'm sorry for that. Your device may not be compatible with that game, try using another or emulator if you have PC/Laptop. It may work

But the game installs fine from PS...
Too bad I don't have a PC..

I checked on other forums that have this mod and I didn't see anyone say they managed to install. Even the last version had the same issue.
 
tried to bypass the google verification, but I still can't save my progress no matter what :|

edit: my progress saved, but it look like the coin and pearl log is server side, so if we didn't use mod and bought lot of thing, it will be negative value without mod
