The updated Platinmods apk requires a separate key file now, that checks your account status at Platinmods.com. If your account isn't current, the game stops working. If too many people are using the same key file, your banned and the game stops working.

Our only hope at this point is that someone figures out how they did it with the last version and applies the mod to this version (seeing how they got the update pushed so quickly, this may be possible), or else get out your wallet and pay $5/month for a mod :/

verified, they have a license file that has to be installed to be able use the mod or it crashes. would love to be able to share but its not doable atm.

Is there not a way to scan the differences in files between the two apks? The regular unmodded apk and then the modded apk? That would show you what's been modded and allow you to replicate it.
