Using other app to inject cheats

I see cheats that is enabled by other app in android . I wonder if someone can explaine to me how is that possible it is injecting binary? Or codes to the other app. In that you dont need to modify the app/game that you want hack right ? Is this kind of advance modding ? Cause i really wanna know . This kind of hack is insane .

And offcourse i decompile the cheat apk . And i see a bunch of codes in java files . Some codes that im not familiar that makes me confuse
