Finally decided to give VIP a try, so far I like that you basically have access to mods for games you wouldn't think could be modded. Smart bunch of folks that make these mods. Tip of the cap to them. I also like how the current system, with the VIP App, allows you to use the VIP mods without needing your device to be rooted. That is important for people who can't root their phones or don't want to take the risk of messing something up (those who aren't very tech savvy). Additionally, the system is easy to manage, having integration with the forum as well as the app itself. Another plus there. I also love that the VIP app keeps a library of the mods I've installed for ease of access. The modded apk I am using for the game I am currently playing works flawlessly. The app made it very easy, just boot that app, log into it with your forum login, and you can download and install all of the mods right from there. So much easier than finding and installing the mods you want through the forum itself. Speaking of the forum. I like that with VIP you gain access to dedicated VIP forums. The staff here managing the whole thing also seems friendly and very much willing to help with any issues that you may encounter. I mentioned an issue I had with emulator settings messing up my device ID (and thus messing up my number of resets) and they reset my counter without me even asking them to do so (much appreciated).
Now onto some things I think could use improvement. The VIP trial I feel could be 1 week longer for the price. $7 seems a bit steep for only 1 week when you consider that the 1 month plan is $15 (only $8 more for 4x the duration). That means that the price of the 1 month plan is very fair, but the trial tier could use a bit of tweaking to make it more enticing to people who want to try out the service. Changing it a bit will probably greatly increase the number of people willing to spend to give the trial a spin, thus possibly leading to many more subscriptions since less people are likely to just jump on the 1 month plan right out of the gate.
I also wish that there was no such thing as the reset limit, those of us using emulators have issues with this because it seems that any time you change settings on an emulator it changes the device ID of that emulator. I agree a device limit should exist, but not a reset limit on top of it. Or at least figure out a way to make it a bit more fair for emulator users who can't change their settings without messing up their device links and thus wasting some of those resets.
All in all I am enjoying VIP. I of course had to point out a few things that could be improved along with my praises, because it wouldn't be an honest review otherwise (since there were those two things I DID wish were improved upon). Regardless, I would still recommend the service to others.
-TLDR-
Pros:
-Access to a huge archive of mods for games
-Easy to use dedicated app to manage, download, install and launch all of your mods that allows them to be used without root
-The VIP app keeping a library of your installed mods is an awesome QOL feature.
-Mods seem to work perfectly doing exactly what they are intended to do
-Forum integration into dedicated app is nice and convenient
-Access to dedicated VIP forums
-Friendly and helpful staff
Cons:
-Trial version of the service could use a bit of adjustment imo
-Device resets shouldn't be limited imo, or at least a workaround should be made for emulator users since emulators change device ID when you change any settings
