Use Apk editor and that'll fix the "app not installed" issue . You can find it in the Play Store .

I'm not rooted but I'm using the mod. It works like a charm .
Also, you should include in the instructions we must go through the tutorial before uninstalling the PS apk, otherwise we'll get stuck in mission 3 where all the heroes must die.
