Hey guys.

So I want to know something. I'm looking to know how to mod most games. Now I know how to mod basic android games with .NET Reflector (Not all though. I fail on a lot of games hence the reason I haven't been posting in awhile) And would like to get into modding games again.

Now I heard there was another program called Spy something (I forgot the name) and I heard it's either harder or easier to mod games with this program am I correct? Cause I'd like to start posting more modded games myself but like I said on top I'm having issues modding most games with .NET Reflector and so I'd like to learn a little bit of this other program.

Any help would be very helpful for me.

Thanks.

Also I'd like to learn how to mod games that ain't unity like which file do I go for for non unity games?

Dnspy is the program you are talking about, I don't think it's harder or easier just a different program so obviously it would seem harder.
Not sure if any of our modders use it as if I'm correct it is quite a specific tool.

I believe a lot of EMT people use it, i'm on discord a lot so whenever I ask something mod related they tell me to use dnspy. I haven't personally tried it, but it has a pretty nice layout, and I would consider trying it.

Each tool has pros and cons. Focus on modding, not the tool, cause the tools are similar function.

I agree with BTG, just learn the basics then find what you want to continue with, dnspy or net reflector.
