azur lane now use "soft update" (CN version at least) , 7.1.1 can be updated to latest by downloading recources. 7.x.x actually use the same apk file, you just need to download more files to upgrade.

But I'm playing JP version. Opened the game and it doesn't let me download resources. It's just stuck in there with infinite loading

I also tried renaming OBB, uninstalling original APK, and installing patched APK, and now I am stuck in black screen.

is the current JP obb.

I copy it from my other device running PS version.

And, patched apk was able to load and download updates smoothly.

I confirm OBB is the correct version - ie the version mensioned by @AndroidDemon. Also confirm that the patched APK is downloaded from the github link you provided

Never mind, just DL'd the latest OBB file and replaced the old one. Everything's working properly, thanks a lot.

The 7.1.1 CN apk which download from your github can't work the Perseus.ini！the Aircraft and the Enemies are lose，only the Skin and Weapons can work，please update
