im not pro, im not top arena, im just mid-end user try to give a tips.
TIPS
only use stat mod (max x99) WHEN ur all main heroes at least T1 ,dps T3
dont touch hell mode and multiplayer mode (arena, dr, wb)
TOC TOG labry are save to use

i use on my 3 accounts, 1st account ~5 months with T4 - T5 main heroes and i only use stat mod (max x99 on labry), not banned
2nd account ~2 month with dps and cc dps T1, start using mod just recently and got banned (only stat mod) be careful cause vespa really hate this mod
3rd account ~1 month using mod since beginning, banned (was ban before shamila kara chase patch)

my suggest for all player :
use this mod at least when u can auto 6-21 hard OR 1-6 hell auto (to farm) OR all main heroes at least T1 ,dps T3
u can easily beat story mod chapter 1 to 5 all difficulty, u start the struggle when u touch chapter 6
so use or not, ur choice.
