Hi community,

I started recently modding games. I have few games ready and working now. My masterpiece is One Peace thousand Storm.

I would like to start sharing them with the community, but I was wondering if there any way of protecting my mods, like changing or removing the on MZ header dlls or any other way.

I've been searching everywhere but no joy.

Thanks for reading, and please refrain from saying te typical, "if you don't share your mod....bla bla"

Cheers Guys!

the same thing i say every time, no way to 100% protect, obfuscation helps, if its just to establish authorship of mod, hiding identifiers in code that prove it was yours and someone leeched it, or licensing similar to vip here (then you need your own server bla bla...), point is decide your reasons for wishing to protect it and come up with the easiest, most effective method, and remember no matter what if someone is determined to they will find a way to bypass anyways so don't expect miracles

Thanks for replying! If you have any tutorial or guide for obfuscation tips that will be nice!

Thanks again, have a nice day!

There are simple free tools available to encrypt the code in an apk which can then only be decrypted using the key you specify but there is always a way around these if somebody wants to steal work that bad they will.
Bottom line is people will generally not steal your code they normally will just share the mod as there own and this can not be stopped
You will end up spending more time on a futile attempt and stress your self out rather than enjoying yourself just plaster as much of you signature/toast messages around as possible and 90% of the modding scene will always know where a nod actually began

Any suggestion on those free tools? :):)
